Black Seeds are also known as Nigella sativa, fennel flower or black coriander. It also has different names in Arabic, such as habbat al-barakah (حبة البركة). However, the name I used (Black seeds) is the literal translation of the common Arabic name habbat as-sauda (حبة السوداء). It has a bitter, peppery, and smoky taste. (More info)
