Cauliflower Salad (سلطة القرنبيط)

Cauliflower is very high in dietary fiber, water and vitamin C while it is low in fat and carbohydrates. Thus, cauliflower salad is very healthy and, of course, tasty and easy to make. This dish is one of the easiest dishes you will ever make; let’s see.

First, I broiled the cauliflower in the oven.


Then, I cut the potatoes and deep fried them in hot oil.


After that, I cut the vegetables, made the sauce and mixed everything together.




  • ½ cauliflower cut into small pieces
  • ¼ cabbage, shredded
  • 2 big carrots, shredded
  • 1 big potato, peeled and julienned
  • 3 tbsp. olive oil
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup yoghurt
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp. white vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Oil for deep frying


  1. Combine carrots and cabbage in a bowl.
  2. Fry potatoes in heated oil until golden brown and tender
  3. Line a baking dish with aluminum foil and add the cauliflower.
  4. Broil the cauliflower until golden brown and tender (approx. 15 minutes)
  5. Add cauliflower and fried potatoes to the carrots and cabbage.
  6. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, yoghurt, vinegar, lemon juice, Italian seasoning and the salt to make the dressing
  7. Add the dressing to the salad and toss until well mixed.
