إدام فاصوليا بالدجاج ـ عربي

Edam is a popular dish in the Middle East. It is made with different types of vegetables and can be cooked with either lamb, beef, or chicken.

In this recipe, I cooked it with chicken breasts and green beans. Usually, people serve Edam with white rice and/or eat it with bread and dip the bread in the red sauce.

The green beans in this recipe is cut into small pieces almost 1 inch.

First I wash the green beans then cut the edges of the green beans after that I cut them at an angle to small pieces. 2


  • ½ onion chopped
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • 2 chicken breast each cut to 8 square pieces
  • 2 cups green beans cut
  • 1 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1 cup tomato cut
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 2 cup boiled water


  1. Sauté onion and garlic until onion is tender.
  2. Add chicken and spices, stir and let cook for 10 minutes.
  3. Add green beans, tomato sauce, chopped tomatoes and water.
  4. Let it cook for 30 minutes or until green beans is tender.
