This is one of my favorite recipes. The taste of the tarts with cream cheese (and fruit make them so yummy.

I received these tart molds as a gift. Since then I have been using them to make many different types of recipes. So keep following me for more recipes using tart molds.

Fruit tart

There are many ways to make the dough for this recipe and many ways to bake it. Some put dried beans on top of the dough to prevent it from rising. For me, I used a fork and poked the dough many times in the middle. However, as a tip, if the dough rises, use a small spoon to press the center of the tarts immediately after taking them out of the oven while they are still hot.Fruit Tart0203


  • Strawberries, sliced
  • Blueberries
  • For the Tart:
    • 1 stick of unsalted butter, room temperature
    • ½ cup powdered sugar
    • 1 egg
    • Pinch of salt
    • ¼ tsp vanilla
    • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • For the cream cheese:
    • 6-8 tbsp. Philadelphia cheese
    • ¼ vanilla
    • 1 can of table cream
    • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • For the glaze:
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 1 cup water
    • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
    • 1 tbsp. cornstarch


  1. In a bowl mix butter, sugar, salt, vanilla and the egg.
  2. Add flour gradually and knead until you get a soft dough.
  3. Put the dough in the fridge for30 minutes.
  4. Take a small piece of the dough put it in the mold. Press with your fingers to cover the inner part of the mold with a thin layer of dough. (You can also roll out the dough then cut it into small pieces that fit the mold. Place each piece one at a time into the mold.)
  5. Use a fork to poke the bottom of the each tart many times.
  6. Place the molds on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Cream Cheese:
    • Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Place in the fridge until needed.
  8. Glaze:
    • Combine all ingredients in a pot and cook on medium heat until it starts to boil, let it boil for one minute and remove from heat.
    • Mix some of the glaze with the sliced fruits. (It keeps the fruit looking fresh.)
  9. Use a spoon to put some of the cream onto the middle each tart. Then put some of the glazed fruits on top of the cream.
  10. You can keep the tarts in the fridge until ready to serve.
