Lazy Cake
This dessert is made of Goya Maria Cookies, dates and unsalted nut mix. It doesn’t take time to make and it looks and tastes good. The dates and nuts are optional, you just need to adjust the number of the cookies in it. You can also add coconut either with mix or just from the outside part.

  • Stick of unsalted butter at room temperature
  • Cup sugar
  • Cup water
  • 2 tbsp. Corn starch mixed in 1/3 of water
  • 4 tbsp. Coco powder
  • 3 tbsp. Nutella
  • 1 Cup of powdered Milk
  • ¼ Cup Dates chopped
  • 11 Cup unsalted nut mix
  • 12 Pieces of Goya Maria Cookies, break each one into four pieces. (You can add more if you need)


  1. In a pot combine unsalted butter, water and sugar. Stir on medium heat until sugar is completely dissolved then remove from heat.
  2. Add milk, corn starch, coco powder and Nutella, stir until well mixed.
  3. Add the Goya cookies, nuts and the dates and mix.
  4. Bring a pig piece of heavy duty aluminum foil put the mix on it then roll the aluminum foil around the mixture to shape it like a log or the same shape of the Goya Maria Cookies when it was still in the pack.
  5. Keep it in the fridge for at least 6 hours. Or freeze it for many days.
