When I have guests and I want to make them something that looks good and tastes good, I think of Oreo cake. It is so easy to make, and I always make it one day before I have guests in my house. I also like to decorate this cake in different ways. Sometimes I like to put Oreo cookies all around it or break them in half and organize them on top. Sometimes I make it as one round cake or in small cups.

First, I make the cake as directed in the box. I let it cool then I cut it horizontally. I use one half and keep the other for another dish.

I make the first layer using the dream web, table cream, milk and the Oreo cookies. Sometimes I add a little of Hershey chocolate to make the mixture dark in color (optional).
Second, I make the second layer which is the same as the first but without the Oreo cookies.

I keep it in the fridge for one or two days. The colder the better it tastes.

here is an old photo from Instagram for Oreo Cake in small cups.

  • 1 box of Betty Crocker Devil’s Food Cake Mix or Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix (Prepare as instructed on the box and bake in a 10-inch round springform cake pan)
  • 2 cans of table cream
  • 2 boxes of Dream Whip
  • 2 cup 2% milk
  • 20 Oreos, broken into small pieces
  • Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup for decorating

  1. The First Layer:
Cut the cooled cake horizontally into two parts. (You can reserve the top part for another dish. We will need only one half.)
Put the lower half back in the cake pan
  2. The Second Layer: The Oreo Mixture:
    • In a bowl, combine one box of Dream Whip with one can of table cream and one cup of the 2% milk and mix well
    • Break the Oreos into small chunks and add them to the mixture
    • Pour the mixture evenly over the cake
  3. The Third Layer:
    • In a bowl, combine the second box of Dream Whip with one can of table cream and the other cup of the 2% milk and mix well
    • Pour this mixture evenly over the Oreo mixture
  4. Cover the pan and refrigerate for at least 10 hours. (You can make the cake one night before you need to serve it)
  5. When ready to serve, run a knife around the sides to loosen the cake from the pan and remove the spring form sides.
  6. Decorate with Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup or any way you like.
