I love making this pizza for kids or as an appetizer for parties. The pizza has a different shape from what is popular.

  • 1 cup Yoghurt
  • ¼ cup Oil
  • ½ tbsp. Yeast
  • 1 tsp. Sugar
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 3 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • Water, as needed
  • Olive Oil to brush on top of the dough
  • Parmesan Cheese to sprinkle on top
  • For the stuffing:
    • 1 green pepper, chopped
    • 1 cans Pitted Black Olives
    • 1 tbsp. Pizza Seasoning
    • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese
    • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese
    • 2 tbsp. Tomato Sauce
    • ½ tsp. Cumin
    • ½ tsp. Black Pepper
    • ½ tsp. Salt

  1. In a bowl mix yoghurt, oil, yeast, sugar, and salt.
  2. Add flour and baking powder and knead with your hands. Add water gradually while kneading until a soft dough forms. Put the dough on a clean, floured surface and knead using the heel of your hand until the dough is elastic and nothing is sticking to your hands.
  3. Put the dough in a greased bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Put it in a warm place for about an hour to let it double in size.
  4. To prepare the stuffing, put all ingredients for the stuffing in a food processor to create a soft mix.
  5. Sprinkle some flour on a clean surface and roll the dough into a rectangle.
  6. Spread the filling evenly on one side of the dough, not right in the middle. (See the photo above.)
  7. Flip the empty side of the dough to cover the filling on the other side to create a stuffed rectangle. With your hands, tap gently on the
  8. dough for remove all the air. Use a pizza cutter to cut the stuffed dough into long, thin pieces (sticks) about 1 inch wide.
  9. Put parchment paper on a baking sheet. Move the sticks to baking sheet and twist each one.
  10. Brush the top with olive oil and sprinkle some Parmesan cheese.
  11. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
