Salmon (سالمون)

سالمون ـ عربي

This is a quick and healthy recipe. I like to make it when I come home and feel so hungry. I consider this dish as good as fast food, but much healthier.


  • 1 fillet of salmon
  • ¼ white onion chopped
  • ½ zucchini chopped
  • ½ green pepper chopped
  • 4 tbsp. olive oil
  • 3 small cloves minced
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Parsley for garnishing


  1. Mix black pepper, salt, and cumin in a small bowl.  Set aside.
  2. Combine onion, garlic, zucchini, green pepper, half of the spice mixture, and 2 tbsp., olive oil in a skillet.
  3. Stir on high heat for about 5 minutes or until zucchini is tender.
  4. Season the salmon by coating it on both sides with the remaining spices.
  5. Use another skillet, add 2 tbsp. olive oil and then the salmon.
  6. Let the salmon cook on one side for almost 3 minutes then flip it to other side and let it cook for another 3 minutes.
  7. Serve the cooked vegetables, top with salmon, and garnish with chopped parsley.


  • Don’t overcook Salmon because it will get dry.

    We made your salmon recipe last week and it was fabulous! We love the seasoning with cumin. It was fast and delicious with all the sauteed vegetables. Now it’s the only way we want to cook salmon.
